We headed to Malone NY to Titus Mountain for our final race of the year! East Coast Snocross made what looked impossible possible! Hats off to the East Coast Snocross Circuit for an awesome season! Montana had locked up all but one Sport Championship heading into the weekend so the team made the call to move him up to Pro Lite! Connor was in a battle for second place in the points heading into the weekend and was going to have his hands full! Corin and Jake were looking to put in solid finishes to end the season on a good note!

Saturday Connor kicked the day off by heading out to practice. He was looking solid and to be in good shape for the weekend! Jake and Montana headed out for Pro Lite practice and they were looking good. Montana latched onto Jakes rear bumper for a few laps to find some lines and they both looked ready. Corin was up next for Pro practice. Corin went out took his time found some lines and put in some fast laps to get ready for the day! Connor was the first race for the team he went out setting the bar for everyone grabbing a win in Sport Stock 600 Saturday. Up next was Jake and Montana in the first round of Pro Lite. Jake got off to a third place start with Montana in fifth. Jake and another rider got into each other on the first lap and then causing Jake to go over the burm. Ending his weekend hurting his knee. Montana rode strong to finish fourth. Corin was up next in Pro Stock. He got a bad start and worked his way through the pack up to 6th. Connor and Montana had one race together today and they went one two as they did all year! Montana got out front with Connor on his bumper all the way to the checkers! Up next was round two of Pro Lite. Montana got off to a better start and was able to grab a second place! Awesome ride by him! Corin had his second round of Pro up next and was looking for better results. He did just that by grabbing a 4th place! Connor had his second round of Sport Super Stock and was looking to grab another win. He went out and did just that got yet another start and checked out. We had finals coming up with one of them deciding how Connor ended up in the season points standings. Montana was up first in the Pro Lite Final. He got off to a very good start coming out in the top three. He rode hard and stayed in third the entire race. This gave him his first podium in his first ever Pro Lite race! Corin was up next in Pro Stock! Corin was looking good making his into third before coming off on a tricky down hill that was eating up a lot of racers throughout the day. Connor was up next and needed to finish in front of Bruce Gaspardi to take second place in the championship. It would make everything a lot smoother if he could go out and win like he did all day. When the light went green he had his worst stat of the weekend leaving him with some work to do! He rode all the way up to third place with Bruce right on him and on the last lap Bruce went for a pass to try to get the position in the race and the standing but came off giving Connor everything he worked for!

Going into Sunday everyone wanted to keep the ball rolling and finish strong for the last day of racing! Connor had to hold of Bruce once again today in the Sport Super Stock Sunday class to get second overall. Montana was looking to stay strong in Pro Lite as well as Corin in Pro. Connor started us off again with going out in practice and looking as if he never came off the track Saturday. Montana as well went out and out the hammer down right off the bat looking great. Corin followed suit and was ripping on the open mod. It was looking to be an awesome day for the team. Connor had the first race once again! He got off to a rocky start but made his way through the pack and up to third place! An awesome ride nut he was looking for the win! Montana was up next and was looking to keep up the good results from yesterday going! That he did he came out got a good start and finished third! Corin was up in Pro Open. When the light went green he didn’t get the start he was looking for coming out almost last. He fought his way back up to 6th! With Montana wrapping up the third championship on Saturday with a win in the first heat he did not have to race. He was not going to race just take the start. When the light went green Connor was off to a good start in second and Montana was just driving to what looked like pulling off but decided after being half a lap back to race. He put his head down and went charging finishing in second and Connor grabbing fourth. Connor was up next in round two of Sport Super Stock Sunday and needed the win to make some points up on Bruce. That he did getting to the first corner first and never looking back grabbing another win. Montana was ready for battle in Pro Lite. He came out on fire grabbing another third place finish! Coming into the second round of Pro Corin was really looking to turn his day around and start getting results. He did just that! Got off to a good start made his way to third and got his best finish of the weekend. We were coming into our last finals of the season! Montana was going to kick it off for us in Pro Lite. For the first time of the weekend he wasn’t near the front after the first corner he was actually last! He put his head down and starting picking off riders. When the checkered flag came out he made his way up to fifth place! Another awesome ride for him. Right after Pro Lite was the Pro Open final. Corin just came off a third place finish and was looking at least that to get on the podium! When the light went green for the first time all weekend Corin was up towards the front! When they came around for the first lap after a rider coming off Corin was in second! He was putting in a real good ride! With about five laps left Corin was T boned at the bottom of the hill knocking him off of his sled and back to fourth. He re mounted and finished fourth a sad way to end the season after riding such a great race. Connor had his Sport Super Stock Sunday final were he needed to either win the race or finish in front of Bruce to get second in the points. Connor had win on his mind when that light went green! He was first to the first turn and first to the checkered flag grabbing the final win of the season in the class and taking home second place in the points standings. Hats off to Connor for getting the job done when under pressure. Our last race of the season was the Sport Stock 600 with Connor and Montana. Montana decided he wanted to go out and race even though he didn’t have to. Both of them came out up front with Montana pulling away early. Connor had a little trouble falling back to fourth but finished the season strong. Montana grabbed the win in the last race of the season.

With the 2011/2012-race season in the books it was a great one. We one three Championships with Montana Connor finished with two second and one fourth and Corin had two fourths and Jake finishing in the top ten. We would like to thank all of our sponsors for doing everything they do for us and always being there without them this wouldn’t be possible. Another big thank you to ECS for an awesome season!

This past weekend we headed to the great state of Maine for the first time in a few years! It was a great to be back! We were in the Carabasset Valley airport! The weather was great and it was a great track! With the weather conditions being on our side fro once this year we were able to have practice on Friday. This allowed us to get the sleds dialed in for the weekend. With a few changes to the suspension and clutching we had the stock sleds ready for battle! After the day of testing and changes to the mod it was also ready for action! Corin and Jake were the only two able to make it for practice and they were looking to be on there A game.

Saturday morning called for an eight o'clock drivers meeting for Connor and Montana with practice to follow. Corin and Jake got to get a little more ret with their drivers meting at 9:15. When Connor and Montana hit the track everyone knew they were back and looking for revenge after Farmington! When Corin and Jake hit the track they as well looked to be on a mission! With the way practice went it looked to be a great day for the team! The first race for the team was the boys! Connor and Montana were up in the same round! Montana got a great start and just said see ya latter! He was gone in another time zone out there! Connor struggled a little with a bad start and just couldn’t find a rhythm! He walked away with a fifth place to start the day. The next race was Jake in Pro Lite. He got off to a good start in the top two and made his way to first quickly! He moved into the lead and checked out! He eventually had an eight second lead on second place! He rode an awesome race and had the N2N state of mind out there! Corin was up next in Pro stock! When the light went green Corin didn’t get out to the start he wanted but that didn’t stop him! He charged through the pack all the way up to fourth. In doing so he set the fastest lap time of the race! Connor and Montana were back it in Sport Super Stock Saturday! This time it was a little different start with Connor grabbing the start with Montana right behind him in second! Montana got right around Connor who was still having trouble and not looking like himself out there. Montana continued to stay on top grabbing another win! Connor made some improvements grabbing a fourth. Jake was up next for round two. Jake grabbed another good start getting into second then moved right into first on the first lap. He was looking to do the same as the first round but when things took a turn for the worst! He cased a jump sending him off the track and hitting the ground hard causing a DNF. Corin was up next for his second round. He was able to grab a middle pack start and made his way up to the front once again getting into the battle for a top three spot just fell a little short. He was ready for the final though and eager to break his streak of fourth places on the day! Connor and Montana had one more round of qualifying before their final. They had round two of Sport stock 600. Connor and Montana grabbed great starts once again! they were both battling for the lead spot as Montana edged him out after the first lap. After that Montana started to gap the field. Connor rode a great racing finishing in third! Up next was Jake for his Pro Lite final. With a bad start he had to make moves quickly to get to the front and that he did. He escaped carnage in the first corner and then again after the back stretch and moved into third on the first lap. He then moved into second and then started to battle for the lead. He made a pass but then got passed back and him and Andrew bailey were neck and neck! It looked like a heck of a race developing. Going into the next corner Jake said, "I thought I had the pass made but when I entered the corner my sled wouldn't turn and just went straight into Andrew." This tipped Jake over and sent him back to the pit area. When he got to the mechanics they saw he had a broken ball joint, which was not allowing him to steer. It was very unfortunate. Up next was Corin in his final. We made some clutching adjustments to his sled looking to improve his starts! When the light went green that’s what happened! He was up into second and moved into first on the first lap! He then began putting distance between him and the field. It looked to be going his way! At about lap seven of sixteen Danny Poirier was on his bumper! Danny was Charging hard and wanted to get to the front. On the next lap he made a pass and that was it Danny was gone! Corin also had his hands full with Lincoln Lemieux who was charging hard as well. With two laps left Corin hit a kicker off the finish line jump sending him off the track and allowing Lincoln to get by. Corin gave it everything he had trying to catch Lincoln but ran out of time. He finished a great race grabbing third! The last race of the day for us was Connor and Montana's Sport Super Stock Saturday final. Connor and Montana both grabbed top five starts and were looking good! Montana was out front once again and he was gapping him self once again! Connor was in a heated battle edging out the fifth place rider to grab fourth. Montana continued on to grab another win! An awesome job by the two boys riding a great race and finishing strong! It was a good and bad day for the team.

Going into Sunday it was the same schedule. Connor and Montana were out first for practice. Connor started off on a steady pace slowly picking it up to put down fast laps. Montana on the other hand went out like he never stopped riding he did every jump on the first lap and made a statement that he was going to be on fire once again! When it was time for Corin and Jake to go out they both looked to have found good lines again and set a pace that looked fast and comfortable. The first race of the day was Connor and Montana for the first round of Sport Super Stock. Connor grabbed the hole shot with Montana right behind him. Montana wasted little time and went right into first. Connor gave it his all and stayed in second till Bruce Gaspardi got around him. That is the way they finished with Montana getting the win and Connor getting third. Up next was the first round of Pro Lite. Jake got out to a fifth place start and made his way up to third before getting sideways in a section and coming off. He was able to remount on his sled and finish fourth. Corin had his first round of Pro Open. He got a good jump and was in the top three. There was a good battle going on with Corin Lincoln Lemieux and Danny Poirier. He ended up finishing in third. They all rode an awesome race and it was an exciting race. The boys were back out next with the second round of Sport Super Stock Sunday. It looked to be a repeat of the first round! Montana got out front and finished first he did have a little trouble in the opening laps from Bruce and Connor but was able to hang on for the win.  Bruce was able to edge Connor out grabbing second and Connor finished third! Jake had his second round of Pro Lite and was looking for some better results. He got a mid pack start and just missed a get off down the first straight away but then some contact by another rider tipped him over putting him back to fifth. By the time he got back on the rest of the field was gone he rode a strong race but couldn’t make up any positions. Corin also had his second round of Pro coming up and was looking to edge out Danny and Lincoln this time! When the light went green he got a good jump but was hit from behind pushing him wide and sending him to the back of the pack. He was charging through the pack got up to fifth but had to pull into the mechanics area after feeling a vibration thinking the track was ripped. When he came in Ziggy saw it was just a boggy wheel and sent him back out there. He pulled on behind Danny who was leading and stayed on his bumper but was unfortunately a lap down. Up next it was final time! The boys would lead off with their two finals. The first one was Sport 600. Connor grabbed the holeshot with Montana in tow. Montana quickly moved into the lead and was gone! Connor had some issues were he almost ran into a rider who was going off the track and allowed two riders by. He was pushed back to fourth and tried getting back to third but ran out of laps. Montana continued pushing out front and stretched out his lead and took another win! They had a short break and another final shortly after. The start was the same once again with Connor grabbing the start and Montana behind. Montana again wasted little time and moved to first this time he had some company. Bruce went by Connor as well and stayed on Montana's bumper. Bruce got by Montana but Montana reacted quickly to get back by and pull away and get another win! Connor had some issues early on falling back to fifth but pulled it together to stay there! Up Next was the Pro Lite final. Jake did not have a very good start coming out of the first corner nearly last but he put his head down and started charging. He picked off as many riders as he could before running out of laps. In the twelve lap final he made his way all the way up to fourth! Awesome ride for him but not the finish he was looking for. The last race of the day was the Pro Open final. Corin was looking to get back on the podium like yesterday. When the light went green Corin looked to be right in the mix of things but was then pushed off the track coming back on in dead last. He didn’t panic knowing he still had sixteen laps to make his way through the pack. Corin gave it everything he had to come from the back all the way up to fourth just missing the podium! He was not thrilled about his finish but couldn't be upset with the way he rode!

All and all a good weekend the team had good finishes all weekend and won every race in the sport class thanks to Montana! It was another great weekend of racing on the ECS tour and can't wait for the next round!

New York National

corin_PSpodium

This weekend we headed to Farmington NY for the Vision Kia National. ECS and ISOC teamed up to put this event on and for the lack of snow and crazy Mother Nature it turned out to be an awesome event! Friday morning we got to sleep in a little and everything got started at 10:30 and went to 9:00 at night! It was going to be a long day of racing! Saturday was going to be even longer with starting at 8:30 and going to 9:00 again!

To start off for the team it was Jake and Corin getting under way first. Jake went out to practice in Pro Lite and Corin followed right after in Pro. Both of them looked really well. Jake was struggling with the track with it being very abusing and pounding with his knee not being a 100 percent as well as having a stomach bug all week and bringing it to the track with him. It was looking to be a rough weekend for him. You could tell Corin was getting more and more comfortable on his new Ski-doo. The first round of Pro Lite was our first race and the team was looking for Jake to just go out and ride and come out injury free. When the light went green Jake was not riding with any limitations by the looks of it! He was coming through the pack from the back and made his way to fourth with a great ride. Up next was Corin in Pro Stock. He did not get a good start and had hi work cit out for him to get a good finish. Corin found good solid lines and put his head down and charged to the front and also got a fourth. A good way to start off the day! Montana was heading out for practice for national Sport. There were ECS Pro Lite riders who dropped down to race Sport National were Montana stayed in his same level of competition to raise his personal level. This was a highly competitive class with a lot of entries. Out in practice Montana looked really well along with his sled. Everything seemed to be going the way he wanted on the track. Up next was round two of Pro Lite and Pro Stock. Pro Lite was first with Jake on the line. Jake got off to a little bit better of a start and left him with not as many riders in front of him. He waisted very little time and started picking riders off making his way to third! Corin was looking for a better start as well so he could get to the front! Corin got what he asked for! His hole shot was much better and was right with the front runners! With troubles from a few riders held him back from riding his lines the entire race but he came in third as well! Jake and Corin were in good shape heading into the finals with both going 4-3. Montana was coming up with his first round of Sport! He was really looking to do well in this class being one of the youngest riders in the national Sport class. Montana got an awesome start being right in the front and in the mix of things! He rode a great race and finished second! He was very happy with his ride and couldn’t wait to get back out there! Jake and Corin both had their finals up next. Jake was first for his Pro Lite final. He got a decent start but made a few mistakes in the opening lap then almost a tip over on the second lap. After those little mishaps he out it together and started charging to the front and made his way up to fourth just missing third! Awesome race for him! Up next was Corin in the Pro Stock final. After a mid pack start Corin had his work cut out for him! He charged hard the entire race gave it his all to make it up to third place! He knocked on the door for second a few times but couldn’t make the pass. Another awesome job for Corin! Montana was up next in his Sport National round two qualifiers. He got another good start and battled up front the entire race placing third! This would put Montana in the front row for the final! He was riding great! Up next was Corin who was racing National Pro Lite! He was a little tired from the full race day he already had but was looking to prove him self at the National level. Jake was supposed to race National Pro Lite but because of his knee and not feeling well we decided it was best to have him rest. In Corins first round got a mid pack start but was moving through the pack! Picking one rider off after another! He got all the riders besides one making his way to second! He was riding awesome out there! After a short time off Corin was back out there for his second round of qualifying. This round he didn’t get as good of a start and had some work cut out for him! He rode his butt off giving it his everything and made it up to fourth! This put him straight to the final! Going into the finals daSilva racing would have both of their riders racing in the national classes in the front row! Montana had his final up first! He jumped out to a third place start and was riding awesome! He was battling with the fourth and fifth place rider and holding his own! He was not going to let any rider by without a fight! A fight is what he gave them! Two riders did get around him putting him back to fifth and he settled in there! It was an awesome race and such an accomplishment! Corin had his National Pro Lite final coming up! He couldn’t of been more ready coming into this he was looking awesome in his qualifiers and his confidence was up as well! He was off to an awesome start in second when the third place rider came into him putting them both over the burm and off the track! When Corin got back on the track he outside of the top ten! He was in attack mode after that doing what ever had to be done to get to the front! He made his way up to fifth with lap riders and the end of the race prohibiting to make any other passes. What an awesome day for him though he showed he has the speed to be a front-runner with the national riders! An awesome day for the team everyone finishing in the top five!

After a long day of racing it was back at Saturday morning! Today was going to be Pro Open ECS and Pro Lite National for Corin, Pro Lite ECS for Jake, Sport ECS and Sport National for Montana and Connor would come back to racing today and race in Sport ECS. Another very long race day for the team! Connor and Montana were up first in Sport practice. Montana continued where he left off yesterday with his speed blistering fast! This was Connors first time back on a sled after his crash two weeks ago. He looked to be riding well and pain free which was awesome and what we were looking for. It was good to see him back! Jake was out next and wasn’t having the best practice he didn’t look like him self and had a get off. He needed to re group before his qualifiers. Corin went out on his new open mod for practice after just building it on Thursday. He was looking pretty good on the new sled but not as good as the day before. He kept putting in lap after lap trying to get comfortable on his new machine. When practice was over he looked much better but still not him self. When we got back to the trailer to discuss practice we decided for Corin to ride his stock sled because his mod was not 100 percent. Racing was under way and Connor and Montana were back in action. Montana got the hole shot and was gone! Connor had his work cut out for him with coming from the back of the pack. It was not going to be easy the snow had picked up and visibility was very bad. He worked his way through passing several riders to make it up to fourth! Up next was Jake in Pro Lite. When the light went green it didn’t look good he got a bad start and could never recover. Pro Open was up next. Corin got a good start on his stock sled but was pushed out and moved to the back of the pack he had some work to do. He made his way from last to fifth in a very good ride! We had a little break before we were back to racing. Connor and Montana would lead us off once again! Montana got another great start and got another win! Connor was in the next heat and got a second! It was a race to the finish line but Connor just could not make the pass. Another awesome ride for him in his first day back. Jake was back at in Pro Lite. This race was much better then the last and he was back to riding good. He fought the entire race and got a third. Corin had his last round of qualifying in Pro Open and was also looking for better results. He got a much better start but a few mistakes though out the race made him have to dig deep! He never gave up and a last lap pass put him into third!  Now it was rest time with two hours before the finals! This gave the riders time to rest and the mechanics to get there sleds ready! The first final up was Sport with Connor and Montana. At the start Montana got an ok start and Connor wasn’t so fortunate with starting around tenth. Montana was in fifth the first lap and he had his work cut out for him. He made some passes quick and was into third. He caught the second place rider and made the pass but a lap rider got in the way and allowed the rider to pass him right back! Montana finished the race in third an awesome ride! Connor was on the move as well! He was making his way to the front passing several riders before being hit and pushed off the track ending his day! It was ashamed to see but it's part of racing. The Pro lite final was right after the boys race. Jake got a decent start and was running in sixth when a rider tried to pass him and came off in the rhythm section and his sled rolled to the corner holding Jake up. A few laps latter Jake was hit from behind and sent over the burm and off the track allowing three riders by before he could get back on. He was unable to make any passes after that and finished in ninth. Corin was the race to follow in the Pro open final. He got a great start coming out in second. The opening laps he was charging hard trying to get into the lead but couldn’t make a pass. The race winner Danny Poirier got passed Corin and Lincoln Lemieux in one move the racing was close! Corin made a few other runs at Lincoln to try to get second but was unable to do so with the lack of power through the rythym section! We hope to have this fixed by next race! Another amazing ride by Corin!

Now for a little break before the night show! Corin and Montana would be running the National classes as they did on Friday. Corin would be competing in Pro Lite and Montana in Sport. Montana was up first! He new he needed good results like yesterday so he could make the final. When that light went green he had one thing on his mind get in the show! He had his goal set and it looked as nothing was going to stop him! He was riding a great race and made his way up to second place!  Corin was up next and was looking to improve on last night! He got off to a rocky start but made his way through the pack and into fourth where he stayed to finish! Round two of Sport was back up and Montana was looking for a win! When the light went green that is exactly what he did! He got the hole shot and took off! He led every lap on his way to the win! Corin had his second round as well and also wanted to get a win! When the race started he was off! He got out front and was riding an awesome race. About half way he had some company! Kody Kamm (the race winner on the night) came to play! They had an awesome battle going on passing each other back and fourth! Kody got the best of him with two laps to go! Corin rode an awesome racing moving him straight to the final! It was time for the finals! Montana was up first! He got a good start and was in the top five when a rider went down and they had to red flag the race! When they got underway he was in fifth! He had some bad luck on the re start and got pushed around and pushed back to ninth! It was a rough race but he held tough to finish in the top ten! Awesome job to Montana giving it his best and never quitting! Corin was up next and wanted to get on the podium! When the light went green he got a good jump but was pushed out! When the first lap was completed he was outside of the top ten and was going to have to put his head down! That he did going by rider after rider! He made his way up to sixth and was going for fifth when the rider behind him T boned him in the corner! That was the end of Corin's night. It knocked him off the sled and the sled off the track! The other rider also came off the track ending his night as well. It was very unfortunate but Corin was riding a great race as he did all weekend! Hats off to him!

It was a great weekend of racing! Awesome job to our team! Next weekend we have the weekend off for some testing and tuning! We will back underway racing March 10-11 in Carabasset Maine for ECS!

Ready To Race!
